The MThree Summer Internship gives talented STEM undergraduates an exciting opportunity to experience working life in the City of London, offering a 10-week rotation with our client NatWest Markets across its production support, development and business analysis teams.
Presentations were followed by interactive sessions where NatWest Markets and MThree asked questions about the projects and overall internship experience. Once the sessions were completed, guests enjoyed food, drinks and the chance to network.
This year we invited seven final-year undergraduates from universities across the UK to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and experience a flavour of working in a dynamic technology-driven environment at NatWest Markets. Based on their skills and interests, interns are given a project to work on across the programme as they progress across rotations, before performing demos of their solution in the final week
With last week marking the end of the programme, we invited MThree head office staff and representatives from NatWest Markets to join our interns in celebrating their achievements and sharing their experiences at our end of internship event.
The evening began with the interns taking the floor to give the audience a summary of their project. Next, they spoke about their day-to-day work during their internship, key achievements, skills learnt and reflections on how they feel university has geared them for working life.
Now, our interns return to university to apply their newly-learnt skills and complete their final year and postgraduate degrees – we’d like to offer them all good luck for the year ahead!
