The first MThree Diversity Network event of 2018 focused on celebrating difference and unearthing the transformative impact diverse teams have when working together to achieve a common goal.

The evening began with talks from 4 industry leaders who offered insight into what celebrating difference means to them through the lens of their professional experiences. Following the talks, the audience dug deeper into the panel’s opinions around diversity with a lively Q&A session.

To finish, we hosted a careers workshop, offering CV and interview tips to students and grads looking to get the edge in their careers.

Mansur has over 20 years’ experience working in Finance & Technology and now leads a global diverse team. He explained that his “keep it simple” philosophy keeps his team of technologists focused on achieving their goals.

Nivedita is a Banking Technology leader with experience across multiple global banks in the UK, India, the Far-East and Australia. Nivedita spoke passionately on the importance of building diverse teams that reflect and understand wider society.

(Christina Hammond-Aziz, Chief Digital Officer, Food Standards Agency)

Christina is a fierce advocate for women in tech and has a wealth of experience in both the private sector and central government. Christina explained how she builds diverse teams by placing greater value on personal attributes such as ambition, and doesn’t use traditional management hierarchies.
