On Saturday July 1st the group of the 2nd year STEM undergraduates met for the first time at our London Training Academy in Canary Wharf where they were given an outline of the kinds of technologies and methodologies they will be working with, as well as pointers as to how they'll be able to contribute within their teams.
Over the next 10 weeks our interns will be gaining hands on experience at NatWest Markets, building upon skills they’re developing at University and discovering how Technology is utilised at an investment bank.
Following icebreakers, Technical Director Ben Wong gave an overview of the Financial Services sector, professional skills required in the workplace and the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC).
