As the trading desk wound to a close on Tuesday 8th August – the Alumni Associates in New York got themselves prepared for an evening of cheering and clapping at the US OPEN 2016. After battling their way through security the Mthree Consulting cohort entered the spectacle that is the Arthur Ashe stadium, our Associates were treated to the World Number One Serena Williams providing a masterclass of power and precision in her winning Quarter Final. As the drinks flowed and the intensity of the tennis rose the rapturing applause increased from our stand. After the Women’s QF, the Associates were lucky enough to see the eventual winner Stanislas Wawrinka play is QF against Juan Del Potro. Needless to say it was a real treat to be able to watch the soon to be champion play. A massive thank you to all of those that attended!
‘Last week we closed out summer with an exciting Alumni event at the quarterfinals of the US Open! After watching Serena Williams go into a nail biting 3rd set win against Simona Halep, our Alumni class was able to reconnect again after starting our fourth month on site. It’s always great seeing everyone in one place, as our placements have us spread across the bank. Looking forward to see what our next event might be, and what could top the US Open!’

‘For the last and final event of the summer, Mthree planned an event to go to the US Open. This was an exciting event to see some great tennis and reconnect other Mthree associates in New York. Drinks, food and great company insured for a fantastic evening. After being on site for three months, it felt good to take a step back and be able to reflect on our journey so far, since we are all spread all across the bank. These monthly meet ups have been great for allowing me to talk with other associates about their experiences and their teams and do things that otherwise I would never have done. Mthree has been raising the bar with every event so I can’t wait to see what we get to do next!’
